The Kastel Kensho Stool Bar Flat Base Stool is a bar stool from Kastel’s Kensho collection for seating at bar-height settings. Its defining features are a flat metal base and an integrated footrest, while Planet fabric upholstery brings a choice of colors. The fixed, non-adjustable seat suits buyers who want a straightforward stool configuration.
A flat base gives this stool its distinctive floor-standing configuration, and its metal construction provides the support for regular seating. The footrest offers somewhere to place your feet while seated, making longer periods at a bar counter more comfortable than a stool without foot support.
The seat is upholstered in Planet fabric, with upholstery colors including black, beige, red, brown, green, pink, blue and grey. This range gives you options for coordinating the stool with a room’s existing palette, whether you prefer a neutral shade or a more noticeable accent.
The base is also available in several colors, including silver, white, beige, yellow, orange, grey, black, blue, red, green, brown and pink. Choosing a base color alongside the upholstery lets you consider both visible parts of the stool when planning a coordinated bar seating area.
This is a fixed-height stool rather than an adjustable office chair: the seat height, seat depth and back height are not adjustable. It has no armrests, headrest or lumbar support, so it is best suited to buyers who do not require those features and whose seating needs match its set configuration.
The footrest is the key comfort feature in this simpler design, supporting a more settled seated position at a bar counter. The stool has a maximum supported load of 135 kg; checking this figure against the intended user’s needs can help confirm its suitability before purchase.
As a bar-type stool, the Kensho is intended for bar seating rather than a fully adjustable workstation setup. Its defined configuration can make it a considered choice when you need a stool with a flat base, fabric upholstery and a footrest, without adding adjustment mechanisms or arm supports.
Kastel lists the product as circular and provides a two-year warranty. These details give buyers useful points to consider when comparing bar stools, alongside the choice of upholstery and base color and the stool’s fixed, non-adjustable design.
