The Kastel Kalea Bar Stool Shell Seat Stool is a bar stool from Kastel’s Kalea collection for people who need fixed-height seating at a bar-height counter. Its shell seat and pedestal base give it a distinct alternative to a conventional four-legged chair, while the listed configuration specifies a chrome-plated pedestal.
The pedestal base gives the stool a single central support rather than four separate legs, creating a different footprint for bar-height seating. Its metal base is specified as chrome-plated in the listed configuration; a black-lacquered structure finish is also noted, so check the selected configuration to confirm the finish that applies.
The product data also lists base color choices including silver, white, yellow, orange, black, beige, red, green, blue, grey and brown. These options allow the stool’s base appearance to be considered alongside its surroundings, but the available choices may depend on the selected configuration.
The shell seat gives the Kastel Kalea bar stool its defining seat form, while upholstery options are listed in fabric and mesh. The shell material itself is not specified, so confirm the material details for the version you intend to order rather than assuming the shell is made from a particular material.
Upholstery color choices include black, beige, red, blue, grey, brown, green and pink. The stool has no adjustable seat height, seat depth or back height, and no lumbar support or headrest is specified. It therefore suits buyers seeking a fixed setup; compare the seat height with your counter before choosing, since an adjustment mechanism is not provided.
Because the listed data does not specify an adjustable fit or lumbar support, this is not a stool to select for those particular features. Its maximum stated load is 135 kg, giving buyers a clear load limit to check against their requirements.
The Kastel Kalea shell seat stool is listed with a two-year warranty and marked as circular. These details provide useful points for comparing it with other bar stools, without implying a particular maintenance routine or environmental certification that is not specified.
As a bar stool, it is intended for bar-height seating rather than as an adjustable task chair. Consider it where a fixed-height stool and pedestal-base design suit the seating arrangement, and check the chosen upholstery and base options before ordering. Cleaning guidance and the shell’s material are not provided in the available product details.
