Ondarreta Tam Bar Backless Stool

Ondarreta Tam Bar Backless Stool

The Ondarreta Tam Bar Backless Stool is a bar-height stool for settings that need simple, fixed seating at a counter. Its backless form and combination of stained wood, birch plywood, and compact Fenix distinguish it from upholstered or adjustable chairs. The straightforward design suits spaces where compact bar seating is preferred.

The Tam collection brings together stained wood, birch plywood, and compact Fenix for a mix of wood and compact-surface materials. Its non-upholstered construction gives the materials a clear role in the overall design, making it a considered option for buyers who prefer a firm, unpadded seat. The combination creates a distinctive material character without relying on fabric or cushioning.

The listed base materials are wood and steel, bringing together two different materials in the stool’s supporting construction. A stained wood finish keeps the wood element central to the design, while the compact Fenix surface adds a contrasting material to the composition. Ondarreta identifies this model as part of its Tam collection, with the focus on materials and a simple backless form.

This is a backless stool with no armrests, lumbar support, or headrest. Its open configuration can be useful when users want to sit close to a bar-height counter and move on or off the seat without navigating a back or arms. It may suit bar counters and shared areas where brief, informal seating is wanted.

The seat height is not adjustable, and the stool has no mechanism. Choose it when a fixed seating position suits the counter and intended users; it is not designed for people who need to change the seat height or adjust their posture using chair controls. Buyers seeking back support for longer periods should consider a chair with a backrest instead.

The stool is listed as meeting EN 16139 Level 2 and as PEFC Certified. These details provide relevant standard and certification information when comparing seating for shared or professional settings. Its maximum stated load is 135 kg, which helps buyers check whether it meets their intended requirements before purchase. A two-year warranty is also specified.

Ondarreta lists the Tam as circular, a useful point for buyers considering circularity as part of their furniture selection. Overall, this fixed, non-upholstered bar stool is suited to spaces that need a distinctive combination of wood and compact Fenix and do not require adjustable seating or back support.
